Pets & Quick Travel Changes

Pet Changes

Bonded pets are now affected by hunger, and thus they will starve over time and release themselves from your control if not maintained

Pets that are abandoned by their owners from logging out or switching to another server region will begin wandering (as if they are looking for their owner)

Pets no longer automatically log out with you, nor will they magically teleport to you when switching server-regions [see Quick Travel Changes, below, for more info]

Any pet that is not mounted & not in the stables will persist in the world when you log out or switch regions

Fixed pet Guarding feature, pets should now attack beings that damage the guarded target persistently

Fixed pet "stay" command from being ignored, pets will stay put now but will remain in Guarding state (use "stop" command to clear Guarding state)

Fixed pet "stop" command and changed it to stop following & begin wandering, also stops Guarding

Pet skill gains have been increased by 100%
Keeping Pets Safe

To keep pets safe when logging out they will need to be stabled or mounted

Warning: Pets that are left in the world will eventually starve and release themselves from your control over time [currently about 16 hours]
Lost Pet Recovery
- The /grabpets and /graballpets commands have been replaced by an option on Stablemaster vendors
Quick Travel Changes

Only pets that are Bonded will travel with you when Recalling, but all pets/escorts will still go through Moongates
-
Pets need to be nearby (about 1 screen) in order to be brought with you when teleporting or crossing a server-boundary

You can now use Recall even if you have an Escort following you, although it will leave the escort behind
Note: These changes apply to same-region quick-travel as well as cross-region
Hotfixes
- 4/26/21 - Doubled the distance required for pets to be within range from owner to teleport with them
